Obama says to us Hell with us Catholics
From the President of The United States to the Catholic faithful of the United States:
“To Hell with You”
To Hell with your religious beliefs,
To Hell with your religious liberty,
To Hell with your freedom of conscience.........
On Fr. Z's blog Father explains Bishop Zubik's of Pittsburgh powerful statement about POTUS Obama's attack on our 1st Amendment. Very intersting material and a visor lift to both His Excellency and Father! We must continue to fight, but just as important pray for those in political power that they may use their skills for God's justice; not for their own sadistic and manipulative agenda.
Take the fight to the front door
Write to the president.
Write to Secretary Sebelius.
Write to our Senators.
Write to those in Congress.
Tell them we can not and will not comply with this unjust law.
The First Amendment unambiguously says that government “shall make no law” prohibiting the free exercise of religion. It doesn’t say that some laws trampling free exercise are fine. It says no law.
This is not just about condoms and sterilization or abortion services; this is about forcing the church to pay for all these immoral "benefits" that it does not sponsor or would ever use!!!! This is a violation of the freedom of religion that is granted to us by the Constitution. Obama is attempting to get the church to sin by proxy of the US government and Satan!!!!
St. Michael, defend us.
St. Louis IX, Pray for us.
Our Lady of America, pray for us.

March for Life in Washington DC!!!!!
While most people were still snuggled in their warm beds, a group of parishioners from Sacred Heart, Dunn were boarding a bus in the church parking lot, ready to embark on a journey to Washington, DC where they would attend Mass, march in protest and visit legislative offices, all in prayerful hope that we will once again become a nation without abortion. Following the march, our group split temporarily. Some went to pay a visit to Senator Hagan's office with a petition signed by all adults on our bus as well as registered voters from other buses. Others were fortunate to hear Senator Burr give a pro life speech. Congresswoman Renee Ellmers was in attendance as was Bishop Burbidge. Returning to our church parking lot right at midnight, we left the bus exhausted, but also inspired to continue the fight. We pray next year we will have enough interest to fill TWO buses!
The Diocese's webpage highlights His Excellence's homily:
The theme of Bishop Burbidge’s homily focused on all that is possible. Giving words of encouragement, Bishop Burbidge said it is possible to replace “‘a culture of death” with the “Gospel of Life.”
“It is possible to change the hearts of elected officials,” Bishop Burbidge said, “so that their decisions, actions and votes ensure a society in which all people are treated equally and never denied the right to be born and to live with dignity and respect.”
Noting how the shared hopes and prayers of the faithful are rooted in The Truth, which is Jesus, Bishop Burbidge said, “His mandate is that life from the moment of conception to natural death must be revered, defended and protected.” The Bishop added, “and that respect and dignity are shown to all of His people, especially the unborn, weak, vulnerable, the needy and those whose rights and freedom are violated.”
INCOMING: Direct Fire from Washington!
Secretary of Health and Human Services and pro-abortion Catholic Kathleen Sebelius just announced that the proposed mandate requiring all insurance plans to pay for contraception, sterilization and some abortion drugs is official -- and Catholics cannot escape.
...and the fig-leaf exemption for religious groups will not be modified, apart from allowing some groups an additional year to comply.
Cardinal-designate Timothy M. Dolan responded minutes ago, saying: “In effect, the president is saying we have a year to figure out how to violate our consciences.”
Beginning August 1, 2012 (less than eight months from today), the insurance premiums we pay, including the insurance premiums paid by Catholics for employees of churches and schools -- will be used to cover drugs and procedures that are in direct conflict with the teachings of our Church.
That's right. Our government will now force us to pay for insurance coverage for birth control, sterilization and even some abortion drugs.
President Obama ignored the organized efforts of Catholics across the country, including bold statements from the Bishops, university presidents (including Notre Dame's Rev. Jenkins), and even his Catholic allies like Sr. Carol Keehan.
Instead, President Obama stood with his real friends -- Planned Parenthood.
Just yesterday, Pope Benedict XVI addressed the bishops from the United States who were completing their "Ad Limina" visit in Rome. The Holy Father specifically cited the "grave threats" to the freedom of the Church in America, and urged the Catholic community to respond, especially with "an engaged, articulate and well-formed Catholic laity."
He's talking to you and me. The Holy Father's brief address is a must read (link below).
Finally, today marks exactly one year from Inauguration Day. In exactly 12 months, America will welcome a new president, or usher in four more years of Barack Obama and his assault on our liberties. This irony is not lost on us.
We built CatholicVote into a movement to advance the cause of life, family, and freedom. Today's decision is an assault on all three. And it MUST be defeated.
You have our pledge that we will do everything possible to educate and mobilize the Catholic vote in 2012.
For on a day such as this, we realize that elections indeed have consequences.
The Catholic vote must rise up like never before; visit catholicvote.org to learn more
On a just as bad note; Wash. has enough votes to legalize gay marriage see story here
